2. Yes/ no question
3. WH question
4. Imperative
a. Positive
b. Negative
Statement (with the conjunction that)

Yes/ no question (with the conjunction if/ whether)

“Are you happy with him?” Anton asked me. Dina asked, “Was she a good actress?” | Anton asked me if I was happy with him. Dina asked if she had been a good actress. |
WH question (WH as the conjunction)

The waitress said, “What will you buy, sir?” “Who was she?” My friend asked. | The waitress said what I would buy. My friend asked who she had been. |
Imperative (with to as the conjunction)
